I posted a picture yesterday of myself on Instagram not because I wanted to show you something new (I was wearing old clothes that you had seen many times before) but because I found a good graffiti wall that I thought would look good on Instagram.
For my caption I said that if you follow me on Instagram it may not be for me showcasing endless freebies or samples, but clothes I actually buy myself and love ..... and that they may be a few years old.
On my blog I try to promote buying quality capsule wardrobe pieces that you will have season after season. One item that I wore yesterday was my Isabel Marant Etoile tweed jacket ..... 2 years after purchasing the jacket I am still in love with it, testament to what I preach about.
If I properly 'worked' in fashion I think the above outfit would be my 'go to' outfit; a tailored jacket (preferably a Izzy jacket love the cut of them), T-Shirt, jeans, kitten heels and a cute bag. Now let's talk about the bag ..... this Jerome Dreyfus bag is on my lust/wish list .... I would love a new black bag for daily use .... I need to save and I've toyed with the YSL totes (tried them both on in Selfridges for size last month even) but I keep on coming back to this one.
After putting together the above outfit for this post - not only do I think that's definitely the bag, I now want one of those Marant T-shirts!!
