The beaches on Guernsey and Herm look heavenly and the pool at the hotel looks pretty nice too - I need things apart from denim shorts/jeans and tees that will simply slip over my swimsuits.
I am going to take my new red Zara number and an ancient black eyelet dress from Jigsaw .... it's very similar to the Anine Bing one above or this more affordable one from Asos (this type of dress never date and nor will you get fed up with it - classics last, plus they are not restricted to a fortnights summer holiday). I am also going to pack an old summer favourite breton striped dress, something like this from Hush.
As you can see I am sticking to a monochrome colour palette with flashes of red.
