Another year brings me to celebrate my 45th birthday and it is always double celebrations as I share my birthday with my daughter who is, 5.
If I am honest I am feeling slightly a mean mummy as I am not doing her a full blown party as such ..... I didn't want to put myself under pressure starting a new school and handing out invites to her new little class friends with such short notice #BADMUMMY . I have promised her a big party when she is six ..... god help me!!
So, we started our day with gold crowns 👑 (L not me) and fairy cakes for breakfast and we are going to have our birthday tea out at our favourite local Italian restaurant with loved ones.
What I am planning to wear this evening? Well a girl should have something new for her birthday and I am going to wear my new black trousers from Zara, teamed with my new blouse from Maison Brunet Paris which I am totally in love with! It was my first time ordering from Maison Brunet and I was super impressed how quickly I received my blouse and how nicely packaged it was, plus the added bonus of a complementary cute cotton tote. If you like the French girl look, then you should check out Maison Brunet they have some really lovely stuff.
The blouse is so pretty and perfect for laying under cosy cardigans and little jackets in the autumn/winter. If you are looking for something similar this one from River Island is equally nice.
I then plan to accessorise the outfit with my Isabel Marant Leopard pealman shoes from a few seasons back .... leopard accessories always jazz up a monochrome outfit. My shoes are sadly no longer available, but Boden always do fabulous leopard heels.
Anyway signing off as I have cake and bubbles to consume.
